Borovetz

Borovetz is the oldest winter resort in Bulgaria it activity starts in 1896, it is one of the biggest Bulgarian resorts. The highest ski racingsstart at 1390m and at the top they are at 2600m. There is an open winter in Borovetz the coldest month is January and the coldest temperature is 4.8 degrees. Usually the snow starts at the middle of December and stops in April. The air is very clean and there is no pollution.
Borovetz was developed as a modern and first class ski resort with a luxury hotels, restaurants, discos, shops, perfect conditions for ski and convenient lifts.
The resort is alpine type and provides very good conditions for ski, snowboard, cross-country, ski jumps, biathlon, motor sledges, and the best conditions for night ski.
The ski races are with different level of difficulty there are races for all skiers: debutant and advanced. They are very well notified on the international standard and marking.

Pamporovo

Pamporovo is a modern ski resort in the middle of Rodopi Mountain, where Orpheus was born. It is the most southern resort in all Europe; it is also the most sunshine winter resort, so it is a perfect place for your family vacations. Pamporovo is situated at 1650 m altitude at the foot of summit Snejanka (1962m), at 240 km from the capital Sofia, and 85 km from Plovdiv.

All the ski races are guarded and hold up in best conditions. There are more than 100 high-qualified ski teachers ready to teach all debutants and all advanced skiers. You can rent ski and snowboard equipment for some of the races and lift stations.
