The golf is the most elite sport, with very old traditions all over the world, it just starts in Bulgaria, but it already has its fans. Bulgaria has 3 golf courts. The first golf centre in Bulgaria was built in 2000 around the Municipality Ihtiman, situated at 40 km from Sofia. During the last year there was the first tournament with the participation of international diplomats. The court is made according to the international standards with 18 holes and 6 425m length. The complex has also a football court, basketball court, volleyball court, two tennis courts, two swimming pools, horse manege, tables for table-tennis, fitness hall, saunaand solarium. In 2004 “Golf Balkan” has built in Municipality Elin Pelin a  Golf and SPA centre – Ravno Pole, in regard of all European golf standards, a great place for your holiday.

In 2004in Municipality Sliven was opened the second golf court, built by “Air Sofia”. This is the biggest golf court in Bulgaria. It is situated at only 90 km from the Black Sea. There is a training court, and very often in this centre are organized training courses for debutants.

The first golf centre under cover on the Balkans was opened in Bulgaria in the beginning of 2006. This centre gives opportunity to all golfers to play no matters the whether. The two training halls give opportunity to play on different terrains. There is video system for computer analyze of the games.
